Have you ever wondered what lies behind the walls, under the floorboards, and above the ceiling? How are places produced? What defines their boundaries? And what gestures and routines happen after dark and out of sight to reconstruct places everyday? Take an unprecedented late-night walk-for-one with urban (col)laboratory through the walls of the Centraltheatre, Leipzig, to explore what happens when the traces of people behind these hidden gestures and routines - people who are meant to be invisible - show up to haunt the places they reconstruct everyday.

I'm currently organising the festival 'Movement in Urban Space' in collaboration with Dance Archiv Leipzig & Patrick Primavesi. The event will take place in Leipzig 24 – 27 June 2010.
Safe the date!
Walks, audio-guided tours, site-specific performances and processions are planned to stage places of high political and cultural interest in an unconventional manner. Closely related to these activities an international conference with lectures, panels and working groups will reflect current discussions about dance, movement, public sphere, urban development and interventionist practice.
